Exporting and Sharing

Updated 5 October 2026·5 min read

One deliverable per mode, sent from the bottom bar:

  • Customer deckAnalysis, from Recommendation: a 16:9 PowerPoint about the system in Your pick.
  • Customer proposalProposal, from the Proposal page: an editable A4 PowerPoint in the page’s section order.
  • Prepare and sendevery slide with its settings, a review of what to check, then Build. Settings save to the project.
  • The ▾ menuReport bundle (ZIP) on Recommendation; Data (ZIP) and the Analysis deck on Proposal; the Presentations library on both.
  • Share with Customera read-only web link with no login; your costs and margin are stripped out on the server.

The deck, the proposal and the share link are on the Pro plan. Only the project owner can create links.

Each project mode ends in one customer deliverable, sent from the coral button in the bottom bar. An Analysis sends the Customer deck from Recommendation. A Proposal sends the Customer proposal from the Proposal page. Both are PowerPoint files you can open and edit. Either can also go out as a web link the customer opens in a browser.

Two deliverables

There is no PDF export. If you want a PDF, save one from PowerPoint.

Prepare and send

Pressing either button opens the Prepare and send panel. It names the system the document is about and lists every slide or page, each with its own settings beside it: next steps, portfolio, chart options and the sizing-matrix range and shading. You can hide a slide for this project only.

The opening summary is the review step. Before it goes out lists the checks, reading Ready to send or the number of items to check. A check about a particular slide takes you to it. Edited for this project lists what you changed. Settings save to the project as you go and start from your company's defaults. From the summary you can copy settings from another project, and a company admin can save the current settings as the company default.

Build PowerPoint deck or Build A4 proposal builds the file. Closing the panel doesn't stop a build. When it finishes you can download it again or go straight to sharing.

Proposal wording: Edit Copy

On the Proposal page, the installer-only appendix has a Proposal Setup card. Its Edit Copy button opens the same panel, where you set the headline, intro and closing text of the customer proposal.

The other exports

The arrow beside each button holds the other exports.

On Recommendation:

On the Proposal page:

Share with Customer

Share with Customer sits in the bottom bar on both Recommendation and the Proposal page. It creates a read-only web link the customer opens with no login, on any device.

Your costs and margin are never included. They are stripped out on the server, so the installer-only appendix doesn't exist in what the customer receives. Each link expires after 7, 30 or 90 days, and you can copy or revoke it from the same dialog.

Who can do what

What each section of the Proposal page means is covered in How to Read the Proposal Page. The slides and templates the deck draws on live in The Library.
