I'm a…

Size, price and pitch a commercial job in an afternoon.

From the customer's bill to a sizing deck in about 10 minutes. Half-hourly solar and battery modelling, every Australian incentive scheme, a proposal with your logo on it. Built for installers and consultants quoting commercial solar and batteries.

Every solar and battery size modelledYour branding on the proposalFree tier, no card
The Amperage sizing matrix: a heatmap of battery capacity against solar size shaded by net present value, 270 of 324 modelled combinations viable, with the recommended 150 kWp plus 300 kWh system marked.

Every solar and battery size for one site, modelled half-hourly. Darker is better.

The problem

Your customer is not buying panels. They are buying a payback.

The quote sitting next to yours probably skips these five. Answer them with numbers and you will win more of the jobs you should.

01

Demand charges left out

On a big commercial bill, demand and capacity charges can be a serious chunk of the total, and solar barely touches them. Net off the energy usage only and the saving looks better than it is.

02

Sized to the roof, not the load

Filling the roof is the easy thing to quote. But if the site shuts early or runs light at midday, those extra kilowatts get exported at a feed-in rate instead of saved at a retail one.

03

The wrong tariff, or a flat one

Peak, shoulder and off-peak windows decide what each generated kilowatt-hour is worth. Flatten them into one rate and the payback can move by years.

04

No battery case, either way

Battery or no battery should be a comparison you can see rather than an upsell or an omission. Sometimes storage beats another 40 kW of panels. Sometimes it clearly does not.

05

Incentives and site works blurred together

Is the price before or after certificates? What switchboard, network or roof work is not in it? That is where the surprises come from. Both should be itemised.

End to end

Three steps to better solar projects

One model carries the job from the customer's bill to a deck with your logo on it, then on to a priced proposal. Nothing gets re-typed between a sizing sheet, an incentive sheet and a deck.

Step 01 · Size it

Every solar and battery combination, ranked by NPV.

We run the whole matrix instead of guessing a ratio. Half-hourly generation against the site's own load shape, with the roof and the tariff as the limits.

  • The full solar and battery grid, modelled per cell
  • Heatmap plus four ranked scenarios
  • TMY weather for the actual site
Four ranked scenarios from an Amperage recommendation: Energy Ideal, NPV Maximising, Grant Maximising and Self Sufficiency Maximising, each with solar and battery size, net present value, payback, load offset, capex after incentives and savings composition.
Step 02 · Pitch it

A deck your customer can follow without you in the room.

An Analysis project ends in a PowerPoint deck: the recommended system, the options next to it, where the money goes today and what the bill looks like afterwards. Same numbers as the model, because it is the model.

  • Your logo, your colours, your contact details
  • Export a PPTX or share a link
  • Assumptions on the page
A slide from the exported Amperage deck titled Four ways to size this system: four scenario cards with size, net cost, payback, year-one savings and NPV, the selected Energy Ideal option highlighted.
Step 03 · Price it

When the sizing is settled, price it as a Proposal.

Build the quote line by line and watch the STC, VEEC, PDRS, LGC and Cheaper Home Batteries deductions land against it as you type. Margin stays on screen while you edit, and the branded proposal comes out the other end.

  • Deemed and metered scheme calculations
  • Live summary with incentives deducted
  • Per-line or whole-quote margin
The Amperage quote summary: equipment, battery, installation, project and logistics subtotals rolling up to a gross total and sell price, then STCs and NSW PDRS deducted to a quote ex GST, GST added, and the final quote of $543,264 inc GST at $1.23 per watt.
Why you can trust the figures

We cannot show you a customer logo yet. We can show you our inputs.

We are in beta, so we will not pad this page with logos. Here are the sources behind the model, so you can judge it the way you would judge a spreadsheet you inherited.

Weather
Typical Meteorological Year for the site's location, half-hourly.
Generation modelled per orientation and tilt rather than a flat kWh/kW figure.
Network tariffs
AER-published distribution network tariff schedules.
Demand and capacity charges get modelled rather than averaged away.
Retail plans
Consumer Data Right retail plan data.
So we can match your bill's time-of-use windows against published market timings.
Incentives
Scheme registries and current certificate prices.
Deemed and metered methods; prices move, so we date them.
Your bill
The interval and tariff detail on the bill you upload.
Once a bill is in, we stop guessing at your consumption shape entirely.

Every scheme has eligibility rules, and every certificate has a price that moves. We show the rule we used and the price we used, so you can argue with either.

Questions

Straight answers.

Does this replace my sizing spreadsheet?
That's the idea. Half-hourly generation and load, the roof as a constraint, and every solar and battery combination ranked, in one run instead of a sheet per scenario.
Which schemes do you handle?
STC and LGC federally, VEEC in Victoria, PDRS in New South Wales, and Cheaper Home Batteries for batteries that qualify. We show the rule and the certificate price we used for each.
Can I put my own branding on the proposal?
Yes, on Pro. Your logo, colours and contact details go on the PPTX deck, the editable A4 PowerPoint proposal and the page you share with your customer.
How long does a job take end to end?
Once the site and load are in, sizing and quoting takes minutes rather than an afternoon, because the incentive maths and the proposal come off the same model.
What about my customer's data?
Projects belong to your company. We don't market to your customers and we don't sell leads.
Is there a free tier?
Yes, and it doesn't need a card. One active project, run end to end, with an Amperage-branded share link. Basic is $399 a month and Pro is $799, both per company and excluding GST. Both are free during beta.
